Meet my neighbors...aren't they such a cute little family!! I had so much fun doing this shoot, thanks Tony & Amy for allowing me to capture such a loving family...I still can't believe how grown up all the kids are, and they are so polite and kind, I couldn't ask for better neighbors!

My title says it all! Oh wait you don't speak Danish? Me neither...

however my great-great-grandfather did...he immigrated here and met my great-great-grandmother who also immigrated from Denmark...so does this make me 1/8 Danish?

Either way, I am proud that my family is from such a beautiful place...

I must say, all this research about Denmark is stirring ideas in my head...I'm thinking I may have to visit this beautiful place...Not sure how my husband feels about trekking across the globe but it is going to be a goal of mine to get there someday! As for now I will enjoy "returning back to my roots" which is what my title translates to.

Wow Jacob Black you better watch out, looks like you've got a little competition here with Rhett! He is such a great guy....I can't believe little (not so little anymore) Rhett is going to be a senior CRAZY! He was still in middle school when we moved in down the street from his amazing family.

Little Cowgirl

Oh little MaKayla, she is such a cute character! She had quite the entourage for her photo shoot, a little star in the making! And it's always interesting when you add a large animal to a shoot like a horse. I had lots of fun snapping photo's of such a cute cowgirl!

Busy Baby

After a couple weeks recovering files from a blown-up computer, I finally feel like I might be getting back on top of things...(big sigh)

My routine has went a little something like this....

Tear apart computer, install old hard drive into new computer, photo shoot, softball, retrieve files, softball, laundry, re-install all programs to new computer,make jewelry, edit photo's, softball, put out new inventory at store and lets not forget to do payroll, what people you want to get paid? and the list goes on and on (notice not to much laundry in there, my poor husband came in this morning and said he was about out of underwear...whoops guess it's laundry day)

In the middle of all of this I've been working on some uber cute photo's of a friends new baby boy! Ohh he is so cute I just want to pinch him...take a look and let me know what you think!

A Picture of Love

If ever there were a perfect

couple it would be these two...

The love between these two can only be described on the big screen...

they have the kind of love that was experienced in the "olden days"

genuine good old fashioned "young love"

together they are bringing into the world a little bundle of joy...

This baby is very blessed and will be loved greatly...

Ashley is such a cute LITTLE pregnant mom...did I mention she was full term when we took these...

Dog Days of Summer

Time for fishing with friends & family...

Soaking up some vitamin D...

and spending alot of time in the water...

countless BBQ's and enjoying every last bit of sunlight...

not to mention gearing up for America's birthday...

and keeping busy making everyone's nails oh so festive...

that is what I call the Dog Days of Summer!

Erica & Ryan

Our friend from Escalante is getting married and she asked me to do the pictures....


First I was excited and humbled that she would ask me...


then a wave of anxiety set in...


"What if she doesn't like them, what if I don't catch everything?"



But after spending the day with Erica, Ryan, & Sheri my mind was set at ease...


Erica's family is amazing...they are truly great people!



Erica & Ryan are such a fun couple to be around and I look forward to the wedding!

I'm also trying a few new things in the graphic design area.... (Candis & Hyrum's Thank You cards)

Hmm....who knows what might be in store?

You know me, always have to try new things!

Time to Create

I've actually found a little time between weddings, baby showers, birthdays, and softball to create a few new items...

I will admit I've used most of this hand stamped ribbon for personal use...can't help it I love it!

And it looks so great on a gift...

I'm now offering sets of handmade note cards as well...

I've also been working on some new jewelry designs...
