Wishing & Dreaming

The snow is melting...everything is muddy...does this mean spring is on it's way? I'm dreaming of that day, you know the one I'm talking about, that first day you can sit outside without your coat and soak up the spring sun!

In the mean time I've been working on a few items that have been inspired by the warm sun melting the now black snow...

This absolute chic necklace is adorned with a trio of black & white rosettes & a Fleur De Les pendant...Can't get enough of the Fleur De Les! My husband asked me the other day "why in world do you want the Saint's symbol all over our house...I thought you were a Colt's fan?" I got a good chuckle out of it...

Along with the Fleur De Les, I am in love with anything french including crowns. This is a charm cluster for a charm necklace....

This delightful little trio would make the perfect spring accessory not only can you clip it in your hair it also can be attached to a jacket, handbag, or on a headband...~LOVE~ these!

These colors just shout spring and remind of that warm inviting sun I've been longing for all winter...

Time for a change?

When Ross & I built our home in 2005 we built it thinking we were going to sale it in 3 years (that was before the market crashed and everything went to @#*%). Now....I'm thinking we will be here for a while! Anyway long story short, I've always wanted a make-up vanity in my bathroom (it was in our original plans...) and since we didn't think we would be here that long we didn't put that in our Master Bath, now I'm really missing it! But instead of dwelling on something I can't change I've found a solution...

My parents gave me this vanity when I was in high school and it's followed me every time I've moved somewhere, and always I've wondered what the heck I was ever going to do with it but couldn't bare to get rid of it...Now it has a purpose! Meet my new make-up vanity!

I'm planning on painting it and changing the hardware on it, but I just haven't found the right color so the purpose of this post (there is a purpose, eventually..) any suggestions on what to do with it? I think it has great potential! This is just the start to my MASSIVE make-over on my home, it has no style yet and I'm sick of it!

INSPIRED....

I'm going through this phase in my life where EVERYTHING I need is Paris/French Inspired...

I've never been one that's big on "Vintage" but lately, oh man, I can't get enough of it!

Whether it be in clothing & jewelry, or scrapbooking, I love it!

Not to mention me feeling the need to re-do my entire home to match this era! Yeah my husband isn't to thrilled about that one! I'll just start small with changing the decor in a few rooms, I'm thinking instead of the western themed basement it might just have to be French Chic...We'll see how the husband feels about that one!

So you will be noticing a lot of this motif incorporated into a lot of my designs and some of the new items I will be carrying in my store...Just a glimpse of what's in the future...
