Fog, and lots of it...

A peek of Main street standing outside the front of my store...

This was to fun to sit and enjoy inside so I closed up shop and went zipping around town snapping photo's...yeah I was the crazy "tourist" looking person with camera in hand stopping off the side of the road...
The old "Glade" house...so much history in these walls, if they could only talk...this house is one of the oldest houses in our town still standing...my father owned it at one time and sold it back to the family of the original owners...he says the fog makes it look creepy, I like to use the word mysterious...
I've been working on some new items for Spring so stop by my boutique and check things out, I will post pictures as soon as I get more time:) Thanks everyone!

The Fillmore's worked there tails off to put on a wonderful spring time lunch for 300 guests
Following the lunch was the ceremony...

If your not familiar with the tradition (this usually is where the unknowing bride gets VERY angry) it goes a little something like this....5 minutes until the reception is over, the groom is getting very nervous, not because he just realized he's no longer a single bachelor, but because his buddies, brothers, uncles, & cousin's are now surrounding him...
why you ask, well the groom is about to take a short ride to the nearest river, pond, lake, or canal...and is about to get thrown in by all of these loving men, some go willingly, some crawl out of church windows to get away, and some run for blocks, but I can guarantee they will get the groom in that water, it's all in fun and most grooms feel bad if their buddies didn't care enough to show up for this hilarious tradition!
